With a name like Lancelot Rose, being amazing is a requirement. I try not to disappoint. I tend to be the jester. I'm light hearted, but typically straight to the point. That whole intro part was just a joke about me being full of myself; I'm actually rather modest. The whole point of this website was to get my name out there; so, if they meet me and want to learn more about me, they can Google me and say, “Hey I know that guy!”

- Lance's Bio -

Lance has always had a passion for video games while he was growing up. He was born and raised in Japan and moved to the US during the third grade. Some of his earliest memories involve playing Chrono Trigger on the Super Famicom. When he first moved to the US, the first two games he played were Tekken and Resident Evil 2 on the Sony PlayStation. At that point, he knew he loved games, and he always would. As he grew up, the gaming world around him grew as well. As gaming systems progressed, so did the production quality of the game play. New concepts, such as physics and adaptive AI, began to be introduced into the world. Games were looking more and more beautiful, and Lance had to make a decision on what he wanted to do in life.

In 2005, Lance decided that he wanted to work on computers, so he decided to start attending a local community college in southern Illinois and work towards a CIS degree. Later while attending school, his mother had an aneurism, so he had a great deal of difficulty trying to make it through the remainder of the school year while trying to drive up to Saint Louis as often as he could to be with his mother in the hospital. Lance then knew that he had to grow up and fast; no more messing around. He finished his school year and started a new semester. He attended school only going through the motions realizing that was not what he really wanted with his life anymore; he wanted to follow the dream he had as a kid. Lance was a decent artist, and it was with Gears of War that he decided that he wanted to code games. Games would only look better and better, and Gears was a perfect example of a wonderful looking game. So, he decided to try and learn how to code.

He took a little class at a local community college and learned that programming was awesome. With every successful line of code he wrote, he found a great deal of satisfaction and triumph. He first got the idea when he went to Full Sail University and took a tour of the school. He decided that he should try coding before coming to a school to learn to do it, so that is where he got the idea to take the class at the community college. Right after he was finished with the class, within the same month, he left to go to school at Full Sail. There, he made many new friends and learned a great deal of what it means to really work and actually enjoy it. He heard a lot of people saying that you don't want to get a job because that's work, you want to get a career because that's what you love. So, he kept coding and making fun little games throughout his course at Full Sail University.

Lance currently lives in Orlando, Florida, and has finished his Bachelors Degree. He is actively programming and studying, while trying to find a job and trying to determine if he should return to school in order to obtain a degree in physics and minor in psychology.
